PRESS NOTE

                    On the basis of the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (II) 2006 held by Union Public Service Commission 7661 candidates with the following Roll Numbers have qualified for being interviewed by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence, for admission to (i) Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 121st Course commencing in July, 2006 (ii) Naval Academy, Goa, Course commencing in July, 2007 (iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course for 182nd F(P) Course commencing in July, 2007 and (iv) Officers'  Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) 86th SSC Course commencing in October, 2007.

 2.                     The candidature of all the candidates, whose Roll Numbers are shown in the lists below, is provisional.  In accordance with the conditions of their admission to the examination, they are required to submit the Original Certificates in support of age, educational qualifications, NCC (C ) (Army Wing/Senior Division Air Wing/Naval Wing) etc. claimed by them to Army Headquarters, A.G.'s Branch/Rtg./CDSE Entry, West Block 3, Ground Floor, Wing No. I, R.K.Puram, New Delhi-110066, in case of IMA/SSC as their first choice and to Naval Headquarters (R&R Section), Room No. 204 'C' Wing, Sena Bhawan, New Delhi - 110011 in case of Navy first choice candidates, and to PO3(A) Air Headquarters, 'J' Block, Room No. 17, Opp. Vayu Bhavan, Moti Lal Nehru Marg, New Delhi - 110011 in case of Air Force first choice candidates.  The original certificates are to be submitted within two weeks of completion of SSB interview and not later than 15th May, 2007 (1st August, 2007 in case of SSC only).

  3.                       Union Public Service Commission have a Facilitation Centre near Examination Hall Building in its campus.  Candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their Examination/Recruitment on working days between 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in person or over Telephone Nos. 011-23385271; 011-23098543 and Telephone No. 011-23381125 from this centre. 

 4.        The marks-sheet for candidates who have not qualified shall be available on the Commission's website within 15 days after declaration/publication of the result.  The candidates will have access to the mark-sheet only after keying the Roll Numbers and date of birth.  The printed/hard copies of the mark sheet would however, be issued by UPSC to candidates based on specific request accompanied by a self addressed stamped envelop.  The candidates desirous of obtaining the printed/hard copies of the marks sheet should make request within thirty days of the display of marks on the Commission's website, beyond which no such request would be entertained.
