QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : M.Sc Degree in Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Agricultural Chemistry from a recognised University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Three years’ practical experience in administration of Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Agricultural Chemistry. DESIRABLE : i) Doctorate Degree in the field of Insecticides/Pesticides. ii) Practical experience in handling of modern instruments used in Analysis of Insecticides. DUTIES : To conduct analysis of pesticides formulations. Interpretation of analytical results. Compilation of analytical methods used for the pesticides analysis.

2. (Ref. No.F.1/206/2007-R-III) ONE READER (RUSSIAN LANGUAGE) IN NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, KHADAKWASLA, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : i) Good academic record with a Doctoral degree or equivalent published work in the concerned subject. ii) Candidates who join from outside the University system, shall also possess at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades, O,A,B,C,D,E,& F at the Master’s Degree level. For candidates already in University system 50% of marks at Master’s level. B. EXPERIENCE : i) Five years’ experience of teaching and/or research excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degrees. ii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new courses and curricula and published works. DUTIES : In addition to primary duty of teaching, a Reader would participate in all academic/social events. No.F.1/83/2008-R-VI) TWO SENIOR SCIENTIFIC OFFICERS, GRADE - II(METALLURGY) IN THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF AERONAUTICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, DEFENCE AERONAUTICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE SERVICE. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Two years’ experience in a responsible position in the field of quality assurance/production of aeronautical materials/components, various composites for military aircraft, aero engines and missile. Experience in destructive/non-destructive testing, defect investigations/failure analysis in respect of materials/components for aeronautical use. DESIRABLE : i) Certificate course in German or French or Russian. ii) Second class in (i) above(desirable). DUTIES : Quality Assurance and inspection of aeronautical stores during production of aeronautical components, materials(ferrous/non-ferrous alloys, super alloys), various composites for use in military aircraft, aero engines, missile, association during destructive/non-destructive testing, failure analysis of aeronautical materials/components. ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : Any member of the service, shall, if so required, be liable to serve as a Commissioned Officer in the Armed Forces for a period of not less than four years including the period spent on training, if any, provided that such officer :- a) shall not be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of ten years from the date of appointment, and b) shall not ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid after attaining the age of forty years.

4. (Ref. No.F.1/82/2008-R-VI) ONE SENIOR SCIENTIFIC OFFICER, GRADE-II(AERONAUTICS) IN THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF AERONAUTICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE. DEFENCE AERONAUTICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE SERVICE. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Two years’ practical experience in the field of Quality Assurance/Production of aeronautical materials/components, various composites for Military aircraft, aero engines and missiles. Defence Aeronautical Quality Assurance Service. Out of two posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Two years’ practical experience in production, development or quality assurance in the field of electrical systems and equipment in aircraft/missile/air armament and other airborne stores and related ground support equipments. DESIRABLE : QUALIFICATIONS & ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : Same as in Item No. 3 above. DUTIES : Quality assurance of DG sets/electrical machines/electrical cables/batteries/aircraft ground support equipment/aircraft electrical system and accessories during indigenous development, production/repair/overhaul of Aircraft.

7. (Ref. No.F.1/84/2008-R-VI) THREE SENIOR SCIENTIFIC OFFICERS, GRADE – II (ELECTRONICS) IN THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF AERONAUTICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE. DEFENCE AERONAUTICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE SERVICE. Out of three posts, one post is reserved for SC candidates. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : Master’s Degree in Electronics or in Physics with Electronics as special subject or Degree in Electronics/Communication Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Two years’ practical experience in production, development or quality assurance in the field of Communication, Radar, Navigation, Electronic Test equipment and Electronic Components. DESIRABLE : QUALIFICATIONS & ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : SAME AS IN ITEM NO. 03 ABOVE. DUTIES : Evaluation, inspection and quality assurance of radar, communication and navigation equipments, electronic test equipments and components during development, manufacture and overhaul and indigenisation of aviation electronic equipments.

8. (Ref. No.F.1/7/2007-R-II) ONE LEGAL OFFICER(GRADE-II) IN THE LEGAL AND TREATIES DIVISION, MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS. The post is reserved for OBC candidates. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : Master’s degree in Law with specialization in the field of International Law and/or International Relations or International Organizations of a recognised University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Five years’ experience in Legal Affairs, namely, Legal Practitioner, teaching or conducting or guiding research in International Law and/or in the Law of International Organizations. DESIRABLE : Knowledge of one or two language other than English. DUTIES : To assist Legal and Treaties division on Legal aspects concerning India’s International Treaties, Laws of seas, rivers etc.

9. (Ref. No.F.1/233/2005-R-II) ONE JUNIOR ANALYST IN CENTRAL FOOD LABORATORY, KOLKATA, MINISTRY OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : M.Sc degree in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/Chemistry of Foods and Drugs and Water OR Degree in Foods Technology/Technical Chemistry of a recognised University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : i) 2 years’ experience of analysis of organic materials particularly of food products. ii) Intimate knowledge of food standards and food composition. DESIRABLE : Research experience in food analysis and food composition or allied subjects. DUTIES : Analysis of food stuffs under PFA Act, 1954 and relevant research and standardization work and any other works ordered by the competent authority. HQ : Kolkata with a liability to serve anywhere in India.

10. (Ref. No.F.1/42/2008-R-IV) EIGHTEEN POSTS IN THE SENIOR GRADE OF INDIAN INFORMATION SERVICE, MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND BROADCASTING. Out of the eighteen posts, two posts are reserved for SC candidates, one post is reserved for ST candidates & five posts are reserved for OBC candidates. Of the eighteen posts, one post is reserved for Physically Handicapped[Low Vision OR Orthopaedically Handicapped(i.e. one leg affected or one arm affected) OR Partially Deaf(PD)(persons suffering from Hearing Impairment- who can function with the help of hearing aid)] candidates belonging to any community. QUALIFICATIONS : A. EDUCATIONAL : i) Degree of a recognised University or equivalent. ii) Diploma in journalism from a recognised University/Institution or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Three years’ experience of journalistic publicity or publication work in a Government department or any Newspaper/News agency. As all the eighteen posts are to be filled up language-wise, the following ‘NOTE’ is an essential requirement for all the above posts. NOTE : The candidate must have studied the concerned Indian Language i.e. Hindi or English or Assamese or Marathi or Bengali or Kashmiri or Oriya or Tamil or Punjabi or Kanada Language upto Secondary School level. DUTIES : Duties attached to Senior Grade posts of IIS, Group ‘B’ Gazetted under various Media Units of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting are as follows:- To prepare information service in English or other regional language and analysis in English of Press Comments on current topics. To assist the selection, editing, presentation and arrangement of news bulletin for broadcast in various languages and to organise the monitoring of news bulletin by foreign broadcasting stations. To assist the Inspector of exhibition/Research officer in regard to campaign progress. Maintenance of registers of newspapers in India.

11. (Ref. No.F.1/92/2008-R-VI) ONE DIRECTOR(ORE DRESSING), INDIAN BUREAU OF MINES, MINISTRY OF MINES. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : Degree in Mining Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology or Metallurgy from a recognized University or Institution or equivalent. OR Master’s Degree in Geology, Applied Geology or Ore Dressing or Chemistry or Physics from a recognised University or Institution or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Fifteen years’ experience in guiding research in a well equipped laboratory or pilot plant conducting Ore Dressing or Mineral beneficiation or Mineral agglomeration work. DESIRABLE : i) Post-Graduate degree in Engineering subject concerned or Doctorate Degree in Geology or Chemistry or Physics from a recognized University. ii) Working knowledge of computer with special emphasis on commonly used software in office. DUTIES : Being head of the division, Incumbent is responsible for operation and performance of Ore Dressing Laboratories and Pilot Plants at Ajmer and Bangalore and Modern Processing Laboratory and pilot plant at Nagpur. HQ : Indian Bureau of Mines, Nagpur.

12. (Ref.No.F.1/94/2008-R-VI) ONE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, GRADE-II(METALLURGY) IN OFFICE OF THE DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONER, MINISTRY OF MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES- DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION (MSME-DO). The post is also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with “Locomotor disability or cerebral palsy”. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : Degree in Metallurgy Engineering from a recognised University/Institute or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Two years’ experience in supervisory capacity in a technical/industrial unit in production/testing/inspection of Metallurgy Engineering products or experience in promotion of Small Scale Industries in areas of entrepreneurship development and quality control. DESIRABLE : i) Familiarity with the latest techniques of production and use of modern machines, equipment process and tools as used in Metallurgical Industries, and ii) basic knowledge of computers particularly application side of currently used software/packages for offices. DUTIES : To advise the Industry on various promotional aspects i.e. providing project profiles for setting up of small scale units in the field of metallurgical engineering. To conduct trainings for Entrepreneurship development & advising the industry on quality standards, Intellectual Property Rights etc. Implementation of policies and schemes in regards to development of small scale sector. To conduct test on metallurgical products for quality certification.

13. (Ref. No.F.1/110/2007-R-I) TWENTY-FIVE(25) MEDICAL OFFICERS, GRADE- II IN GENERAL RESERVE ENGINEER FORCE OF BORDER ROADS ORGANIZATION, MINISTRY OF SHIPPING, ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS. Out of twenty- five posts, three posts are reserved for SC, one post is reserved for ST candidates and six posts are reserved for OBC candidates. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : EDUCATIONAL : i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part - II of the Third Schedule(other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
