1.(Ref. No.F.1/23/2007-R-VI) ONE  TECHNICAL ADVISER(BOILER) IN DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL POLICY & PROMOTION, MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY.  QUALIFICATIONS :  ESSENTIAL :  A. EDUCATIONAL :  Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.  B. EXPERIENCE :  Fifteen years’ experience in a managerial capacity in the working of the Indian Boilers Act and Rules and regulations framed there under or the  manufacture/operation/maintenance/inspection of Boilers.  DUTIES  :  To advise the Central and State Govt. on all the matters relating to administration of Indian Boilers Act, 1923.  Work as member secretary of the Central Boiler Board and is responsible for notification and implementation of all the Amendments to the Indian Boilers Act & regulations.  Further the officer carries out all the duties & responsibilities entrusted to him such as technical Audits and recognition of Inspecting Authorities/Competent Authorities/well known Steel Makers/Foundries/forging/Pipe & Tube makers/Laboratories as per Indian Boiler Regulations for allowing the industries to self certify their products.    The officer is also engaged as Technical Adviser and advising  on all matters against the decisions of Chief Inspectors of Boilers of the States.    HQ :  New Delhi.

2.(Ref. No.F.1/79/2008-R-III) TWO CIVILIAN GLIDING INSTRUCTORS IN NCC AIR SQUADRONS, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF NATIONAL CADET CORPS.   QUALIFICATIONS :   ESSENTIAL :  EDUCATIONAL :   A.  i) 10 + 2  pass or its equivalent with  Physics and Mathematics from a  recognized Board/Institution.  ii) Flight Instructor Rating(Gliders).  DESIRABLE :  Experience as Gliding Instructor in any recognized Flying/Glider Club.  OR  B.   Private Pilot Licence(Aeroplane)/Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane)/Glider Pilot Licence/National Cadet Corps  “C” Certificate(Air Wing).  The candidates with PPL/CPL/GPL/NCC  ‘C’ Certificate(Air Wing) will have to complete Theoretical and Practical Training as prescribed by Air Craft Rules 1937, in the Institutions detailed for training by the Director General NCC and obtain the licence of FIR(G)  and complete probation successfully before he/she is given command.   NOTE :  Candidates with Flight Instructor Rating (Gliders) will be preferred.  DUTIES :   To carry out Glider Training of NCC Cadets, to hold the inventory of the Glider Flights, operate the winch and maintain all Gliders winches, equipment tools and spares.  To act as liaison Officer between the unit and flying clubs.  Authorise  flights  in the Flight Authorization Book.

3.(Ref. No.F.1/124/2007-R-VI) THREE BARRACK STORES OFFICERS IN ENGINEER-IN-CHIEFS BRANCH, INTEGRATED HEADQUARTER, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE(ARMY).  Out of the three posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates. Of the three posts, one post is reserved for Physically Handicapped persons with disability of One Arm affected(OA) or One Leg affected (OL) or PD[Partially Deaf (with suitable aids)] belonging to  any community.  These posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped person with disability of One Arm(OA) affected or One leg affected(OL) or Partially Deaf[PD(with suitable  aids)].    QUALIFICATIONS :  ESSENTIAL :  A. EDUCATIONAL :   Degree in Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent.  OR Post Graduate Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce of  a recognized University or equivalent.  B. EXPERIENCE :  Three years’ experience in supervisory capacity in the Estate work, including holding charge of stores preferably Constructions/Engineering Stores.   DUTIES :  Forecast, planning, procurement, disposal of material & resources etc. Maintenance of revenue records, recovery of any arrears of revenue etc.

4.(Ref. No.F.1/2/2008-R-II)  ONE SENIOR SCIENTIFIC OFFICER, GRADE II(BALLISTICS), BALLISTICS DIVISION IN THE CENTRAL FORENSIC SCIENCE LABORATORIES UNDER THE  DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE, MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS.   QUALIFICATIONS :  ESSENTIAL :  A. EDUCATIONAL :  Master’s Degree in Physics/Mathematics/Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subject at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University or equivalent.  B. EXPERIENCE :  Three years’ experience of analytical methods and research in the field of Ballistics.    DUTIES :  To assist the Assistant Director/Dy. Director in the examination of crime exhibits in the concerned divisions and to depose expert evidence in the courts of law as and when required.  To conduct research & development and to keep liaison with other research & development organizations.  Any scientific work pertaining to the laboratory assigned by the Director/Dy. Director/Assistant Director from time to time in day to day functioning of the laboratory.  HQ :  Kolkata / Chandigarh / Hyderabad with all India Service liability

AGE  LIMIT AS  ON  NORMAL CLOSING DATE  i.e. 28-08 -2008     
a) Not exceeding 50 years for the post at S. No.1
