Notes regarding the Advertisement
1.
(Ref.No.F.1/48/2009-R-II) One Assistant Director(Oil & Fats) in
Directorate of Marketing & Inspection, Department of Agriculture and
Co-operation, Ministry of Agriculture.
Qualifications : Essential :
A. Educational : Master’s Degree
in Chemistry / Agriculture Chemistry / Dairying with Dairy Chemistry / Oil
Technology / Food Technology of a recognized University or equivalent.
B. Experience:
i) Three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in analytical work
out of which, 2 years should be in the analysis of organic materials.
ii) Specialization in grading and analysis of Oils, Fats and Dairy
Products. Desirable:
Research experience as evidenced by published work. Duties:
To guide quality control research and analytical work on oils and Fats.
Any other work assigned by the Superior Officers.

: The officer shall be responsible
for quality assurance, acceptance, inspection of equipments, arms, ammunitions
and stores; defect investigation, trials, vetting of draft indents /

improvement of quality.

Essential: Educational : i) Master’s degree in Computer Science from a recognized

Should have cleared the eligibility test for Lecturers conducted by University
Grants Commission, Council for scientific and Industrial Research or similar
test accredited by University
Grants Commission. NOTE :
The following are exempted from the requirement of Educational
Qualification(ii) above :- a) The candidates who have passed NET conducted by
the UGC / CSIR
for Junior Research Fellowship Award.
b) The candidates who have been awarded Ph.D or passed the M.Phil
Examination by the date as specified in the latest notification of the UGC in
this regard. Desirable : i) Good
academic record with 55% marks at the Master’s degree as in EQ(i).
ii) Proficiency in games/cultural activities. iii) Experience of Military
Training / National Cadet Corps / Scouting. iv) Proficiency in English in the

of Duties of Lecturers at ACC Wing.
: The primary responsibility of
Academy Instructors are to impart academic instructions to cadets and assess
them. they will also be required to
assist in conducting the co-curricular activities and
extra curricular activities. Their
detailed duties will be as follows : Paper setting.

OSIC Clubs and other extra curricular activities.

Grade – II(Junior Scale) (Medicine), Ministry of Health & Family
Welfare, Central Health Service(Non-Teaching Specialist Sub-Cadre). Out of five
posts, one post is reserved for ST candidates and the other four posts are
reserved for OBC candidates. Qualifications:
Essential : A. Educational :
i) A recognised medical
qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule
or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than Licentiate Qualifications)
to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders
of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should
also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of Section 13 of the IMC
Act, 1956. ii) Post- Graduate Degree in the concerned speciality i.e., M.D.(General)/M.D(General
Medicine) / M.D.(Med. & Therapeutics) / MRCP, Speciality Board of Internal
Medicine(USA). B Experience : Three
years experience in the Concerned speciality after obtaining Post-graduate
Degree or five years’ experience after obtaining the Post-Graduate Diploma.
NOTE: I: The Medical
qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the
Medical Council of India. NOTE : II
: In so far as post-graduate
medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should
also find a place in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as
amended from time to time. NOTE:
III: Holders of speciality Board of
USA qualification should complete the entire requirements of the Board concerned
DUTIES : To perform all
duties required of a specialist in the speciality of Medicine.
To perform various administrative duties as may be assigned from time to
time. Any other duties that may be
assigned by the higher officers. ANY
OTHER CONDITIONS : The other conditions of service will be as laid down in the
CHS Rules, 1996 and other rules in force from time to time in particular :-
(A) Private practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed
including any consultation and laboratory practice.
(B) The candidate selected,
if so required, shall be liable to serve in any Defence Service, or post
connected with the Defence of India, for a period of not less than four years
including the period spent in training, if any, provided that : i) He/She will not be required to serve as aforesaid after
the expiry of 10 years from the date of appointment or from the date of joining
the service. ii) He/She will not ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid
after attaining the age of 45 years.

(Ref.No.F.1/98/2007-R-IV) Thirty-one Administrative Officers in the
General Reserve Engineer Force of the Border Roads Organisation, Ministry of
Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Border Roads Development Board.
Out of the thirty-one posts, five posts are reserved for SC candidates,
two posts are reserved for ST candidates & eight posts are reserved for OBC
candidates. Of the thirty-one
posts, one post is reserved
for Physically Handicapped(Locomotor disability – only one Arm affected)
candidates belonging to any community. The
posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped(Locomotor disability – only
One Arm affected)candidates. Qualifications
: Essential : A. Educational
: Degree from a recognized
University or equivalent. B.
Experience : Five years’
experience in a Supervisory capacity in General Administration, Establishment,
Finance and Accounts matters. Desirable
: Diploma in Personal Management
from a recognized University or Institute.
DUTIES : Management to look
after the administration and welfare of personnel, familiarity with terms and
conditions of service and disciplinary rules, knowledge of Civil Service
Regulations, cash disbursement, knowledge of stores accounting,
indenting/accounting and provisioning of all types of rations including fresh
supplies and POL(Petrol, Oil and Lubricants). ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : i)
The officer will have to wear prescribed uniform.
ii) The officer will be subject to Army Act, 1950 and rules made
thereunder for purpose of
discipline.

(Ref.No.F.1/119/2008-R-IV) One Economic Officer, Ministry of
Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, Department of Road Transport &
Highways. Qualifications :
Essential : A. Educational :
Master’s degree in Economics / Commerce / Statistics/ Operations
Research / Mathematics(with Statistics) of a recognized University or
equivalent. B. Experience : Two
years’ experience of Economic research and investigation OR Two years’
experience in collection,
compilation, analysis and interpretation of Statistical data.
DUTIES : Collection,
compilation and analysis of statistic relating to Major Ports as well as Minor
Ports. Monthly Ship Cards relating to India / Foreign Flag received from IPA,
Annual Return showing information
relating to Traffic carried by Indian / Foreign Flags as well as commodity-wise
origin and destination of Import / Export Traffic Supply of information relating
to India’s Overseas Trade after collection.

(Ref.No.F.1/246/2007-R-IV) Four Assistant Managers(Admn. /
Publication / Forms Store) in the Government of India Presses under
the Directorate of Printing, Ministry of Urban Development.
Out of the four posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates.
Qualifications : Essential :
A. Educational : Degree of a
recognized University. B.
Experience : About five years’ experience in a responsible capacity in a
Government Department or Commercial Industry dealing with establishment.
Desirable : Administrative
experience in an industrial establishment.
DUTIES : The Assistant
Manager (Admn./Publication / Forms Store) will assist the Manager in the Admn.
work of the Unit. He will
be responsible for the efficient disposal of work in the Office wing and
will hold administration charge of the entire clerical establishment.
He will also be required to perform
such other duties as may be prescribed. HQ
: Anywhere in India where there is

(Ref.No.F.1/45/2009-R-II) Three Assistant Programmers in CBI.
The posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with
disabilities of partially hearing impairment or orthopaedically handicapped
persons with disability in lower limb.
Qualifications : Essential :
Educational : A-
Master’s Degree in Computer Application or Computer Science or Master’s of
Technology(with specialization in Computer Application) or Bachelor of
Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer
Science or Computer Technology from a recognized University or Institute or
equivalent OR B- (i) Degree in
Computer Application or Computer Science or Degree in Electronics or Electronics
and Communication Engineering from a recognized University or Institute or
equivalent. ii)Two year’s
experience in electronic data processing work including experience of actual
programming. OR
C- i) ‘A’ Level Diploma under Department of Electronic Accredited
Computer Courses Programme or Post-graduate Diploma in Computer Application
offered under University Programme, and ii) Three years’ experience in
electronic data processing work including experience of actual programming.
Desirable : Knowledge of
programming in C, C++, OR visual C++ and in Oracle Relational Data Base
Management System to experience on RISE based Computer Systems under UNIX or
UNIX-like operating Systems /
WINDOW Networking or WINDOWS environment. DUTIES
: The Assistant programmers,
Central Bureau of Investigation will be responsible for
development and implementation of Systems. Responsible for day-to-day operation of the computer set up
at the Branches / Units. Refreshing/Replication of data from Branch to Regional
Office Server. Database backup and
restoration of CBI Projects. Local
Area Network Management. Maintenance
of Oracle Database Server. Liaison
or coordination between Regional and Head Office Server. Security Administration of Systems and Network.
Any other duty assigned by Regional DIG or any other Senior Officers.
HQ : Liable to serve any of
the CBI branches in India.

(Ref.No.F.1/247/2007-R-II) Four Examiners of Trade Marks in the Trade
Marks Registry under the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs
and Trade Marks. Out of four posts,
one post is reserved for SC
candidates, two posts are reserved for OBC candidates.
Of the four posts, one post is reserved for Physically Handicapped
persons with disability of Orthopaedically Handicapped belonging to
any community. The posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped
persons with disability of Orthopaedically Handicapped. Qualifications : Essential
: A. Educational :
Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent.
B. Experience : Two years’
experience of legal affairs or Trade Marks. Desirable :
Master’s degree in Physics/Chemistry or Degree in Engineering or
Technology of a recognized University or equivalent. DUTIES :
Under the superintendence and direction of the Registrar, he has to
examine the Trade Marks applications filed for registration of trade marks as
per the provisions of Trade Marks Act, 1999 and rules framed there under, to
take the hearing of the show-cause matters pertaining to trade marks & issue
orders, decisions and any other work assigned to him by Controller General of
Patents, Designs and Trade Marks from time to time.
13.
(Ref.No.F.1/49/2009-R-VI) One Inspector of Boilers in Labour
Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
Qualifications : Essential : Educational : i) Degree in Mechanical
Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
ii) Must have received training as a practical Engineer in the design
construction, operation and maintenance of Boilers for not less than 2 years.
DUTIES : To assist the Chief
Inspector of Boilers and Smoke Nuisance in the implementation of Indian Boilers
Act, 1923, Indian Boilers regulations,1950 and Delhi Boilers Attendant Rules.
Act as inspecting Officer under the Indian Boilers Regulations.
Supervision of Smoke Observers. HQ

and Treaties Division, Ministry of External Affairs.
Qualifications : Essential :
A. Educational : Master’s
degree in Law with specialization in the field of International Law and/or
International Relations or International Organizations of a recognized
University or equivalent. B.
Experience : Five years’ experience in Legal Affairs, namely, Legal
Practitioner, teaching or conducting or guiding research in International Law
and / or in the Law of International Organizations. Desirable : Knowledge
of one or two foreign languages other than English. DUTIES : To
assist Legal and Treaties Division on Legal aspects concerning India’s
International Treaties, Laws of seas, rivers etc.

4. AGE LIMIT AS ON NORMAL CLOSING DATE
