Of the three posts, one post each is reserved for Scheduled Caste and
Other Backward Classes candidates. QUALIFICATIONS

First class Bachelor’s Degree in the Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
OR First class Master’s Degree in the Electrical &

He/she will be required to conduct classes, develop curriculum, prepare
learning resource material, student guidance and counselling and assist students
in Laboratory work. Besides, he/she will be required to work in the area of
research and consultancy as well as administrative duties as required by the

For candidates from industry and profession:-
Master degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Power
Electronics) with professional work, which is significant and can be recognized
as equivalent to Ph.D.degree and with ten years Industrial/Professional
experience of which at least 5 years should be at a senior level comparable to
that of Professor would also be eligible. DESIRABLE:
Administrative experience in a responsible position.

(Ref.No.F.1/82/2009-R-VI) Thirty-two Junior Works Managers(Mechanical) in
Ordnance Factory Board, Department of
Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Civilian in Defence Services.
Out of thirty-two posts, five posts are reserved for SC , three
posts are reserved for ST candidates & eight posts are reserved for
OBC candidates. Of the thirty-two posts, one post is reserved for Physically
Handicapped persons with disability of Hearing Impairment(Partially Deaf) of any
community. The post is also
suitable for Physically Handicapped person with above mentioned disability.
Qualifications : Essential : Educational : Degree
in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University or
equivalent. Duties :
The work is of technical & supervisory nature where the officer is
responsible for the out put and working of a group of Industrial, Non-Industrial
& non-gazetted employees posted under him, as per targets given by the

in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Public Health(Specialist) Sub-Cadre of
Central Health Service. Out of four
posts, one post each is reserved for ST &
OBC candidates. Qualifications
: Essential : A. Educational : i) A
recognized Medical qualification included
in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than licentiate
qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third
Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of
Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956. ii)
Post-Graduate degree qualification in the field of Public Health i.e.
MD(Social and Preventive Medicine)/MD(Community Medicine) / Dr. P.H. or any
other equivalent degree recognized by Medical Council of India /
D.P.H.,D.I.H.,M.P.H.,D.T.M and
D.T.M. &H. B. Experience : Three
years’ experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining the
Post-graduate degree or five years’ experience in the speciality after
obtaining Post-
Graduate Diploma. Desirable : DPH/DMCW/DIH/DHE.
NOTE : I: The Medical
qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the
Medical Council of India. In case
of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the qualifications
should be included in the respective Schedule to the Act governing that system
of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached. NOTE :II: In so far as
Post-Graduate Medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are
concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time.
In case of medical posts other than allopathic system of medicine, the
qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule to the Act
governing that system of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached.
NOTE : III : Completion of
compulsory Rotating Internship
Certificate, Registration certificate, an official document showing name of
College/Institution from where degree/diploma has been done.
Duties : To conduct studies
and field investigations in the control of Communicable diseases.
To assist in training Programmes undertaken by the Institutions. Any other duties assigned by the authorities from time to
time. HQ : Initial posting
at Lakshadweep and CLTRI, Chengalpattu but liable to serve anywhere in India.
ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : The other conditions of service will be as laid down in
the CHS Rules, 1996 and other rules in force from time to time in particular :-
(A) Private practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed
including any consultation and laboratory practice.
(B) The candidate selected will, if so required,
be liable to serve in any Defence Service, or post connected with the
Defence of India, for a period of not less than four years including the period
spent in training, if any, provided that such officer:
i) will not be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry
of 10 years from the date of appointment or from the date of joining the
service. ii) Will not ordinarily be
required to serve as aforesaid after attaining the age of 45 years.

(Ref.No.F.1/133/2009-R-VI) Three Assistant Marine Engineers in Andaman
& Nicobar Administration. Out
of three posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates.
Qualifications : Essential :
Educational : Merchant
Shipping(Marine Engineer officer, Class –II) Certificate or Inland
Engineer’s (Motor) certificate awarded by the Director General of Shipping,
Govt. of India. OR Senior Technical Sailor of the Indian Navy of the rank of
Chief Artificer or Master Chief Artificer. OR Degree in Mechanical/Marine
Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable : Two years’
experience in operation/maintenance of marine machinery on board
ships/dockyards. Duties :
Docking and undocking of ships. Safety
of the ships while placed in Dry-dock and Slipways.
Preparation of annual plan for dry-docking of Marine vessels.
Carry out periodical hull survey/repair/maintenance of vessels/motor
launches etc. Maintenance and running of workshop and boat building yards.
Purchase, issue, maintenance and accounting of all
spares/equipments/stores. HQ :
Andaman & Nicobar Island. NOTE
: Closing date for receipt of applications for this Item
is. 20.10.2009. No extended time is allowed to this Item.

(Ref.No.F.1/115/2009-R-I) One Specialist, Grade-II(Senior Scale), Super
Specialist in Cardiology, Health Department, Govt. of Pucucherry.
The post is reserved for OBC candidates.
Qualifications : Essential :
A. Educational : i) Same as in Item
No.8 at EQ(i) above. ii)Post –Graduate degree in the speciality i.e.
D.M.(Cardiology) or equivalent. B. Experience : Five years’ experience in
the concerned Speciality after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree.
Desirable : Knowledge of local
language/dialects prevalent in the area i.e. Tamil, Malayalam or Telgu will be
an advantage to the candidate applying for the post. NOTE
: I: The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the
recognition of the Medical Council of
India. In case of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the
qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule to the Act

qualification in Super-Specialities (M.Ch./D.M.) except in the case of
holders of D.M./M.Ch. of five years duration, the holders should have obtained
M.D.(General Medicine) or M.S.(General Surgery) or an equivalent qualification
as prescribed by the said council in its recommendations on post graduate
medical examination. NOTE-V: In the case of holder of D.M./M.Ch. qualification
of five years duration, the period of Senior Post graduate residency rendered in
the last part of the said D.M/M.Ch. shall be counted towards requirement of
experience. NOTE : VI : Holders of
speciality Board of USA qualifications should complete the entire requirements
of the Board concerned. NOTE : VII
: Completion of compulsory

: In charge of independent unit in
