Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture. The
post is reserved for OBC Candidates. Qualifications
: Essential :
A. Educational : i) A
recognized Veterinary Degree qualification included in the first or second
Schedule to the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.
ii) Post-Graduate Degree in Veterinary Science in Bacteriology or
Medicine or Pathology or Parasitologry or Virology of a recognized University or
equivalent. B. Experience : Three
years’ Laboratory experience in animal disease, investigation and their
control. DUTIES :
To implement provision of the Livestock(Import) Quarantine Rules.
To examine the livestock imported into India from other countries, keep

Essential : Educational: Degree

Duties : The work is of
technical & supervisory nature where the officer is responsible for the out

Fifty five per cent marks and above or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point
scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E and F at the Master’s Degree in the
Chinese Language from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a
foreign University. ii) Should have
cleared National Eligibility Test(NET) for Lecturers conducted by the University
Grants Commission, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research or similar
test accredited by the University
Grants Commission. NOTE : The
candidates who have been awarded Doctorate of Philosophy or passed the Master of
Philosophy Examination in the Chinese Language are exempted from the requirement
of Educational Qualification (ii) above.
Desirable : i) Experience in
National Cadet Corps or Scouting or games or cultural activities.
ii) Proficiency in English in the specified subjects shall be essential.
Duties : In addition to
primary duty of teaching, a Lecturer will assist in all aspects of training of

9.(Ref.No.F.1/121/2009-R-I) Five Assistant Professors in Nephrology in the
Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Central Health Service(Teaching
Specialist Sub-Cadre). Out of five
posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates. Qualifications :
Essential : A. Educational : i)
A recognized Medical
qualification included in the First
or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than licentiate
qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part II of the Third
Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of
Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956. ii)
Post-Graduate degree qualification in the concerned super-speciality i.e
D.M. (Nephrology) or equivalent. B.
Experience : Three years’
teaching experience as Tutor/Demonstrator/Registrar/Senior
Resident in the concerned Super-Speciality
in a recognized teaching Institution after obtaining the first Post-graduate
degree qualification. NOTE : I: The
Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition
of the Medical Council of India. In
case of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the
qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act
governing that system of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached. NOTE :II:
In so far as Post-Graduation Medical qualifications awarded by Indian
Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time.
In case of medical posts other than allopathic system of medicine, the
qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act
governing that system of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached. NOTE : III
: The experience gained should be recognized by the MCI or the statutory body
concerned of the system of medicine as valid teaching experience for teaching
posts and certificate therefor or any other valid proof in support thereof
should be submitted. Teaching
experience in any other post like the post of General Duty Medial
Officer/Medical Officer shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for
recruitment to the teaching posts. NOTE-IV: In the case of
qualification in Super-Specialities (M.Ch./D.M.) except in the case of
holders of D.M./M.Ch. of five years duration, the holders should have obtained
M.D.(General Medicine) or M.S.(General Surgery) or an equivalent qualification
as prescribed by the said council in its recommendations on post graduate
medical examination. NOTE-V: In the case of holder of D.M./M.Ch. qualification
of five years duration, the period of Senior Post graduate residency rendered in
the last part of the said D.M/M.Ch. shall be counted towards requirement of

: Completion of compulsory
Rotating Internship Certificate, Registration Certificate, an official
document showing name of College/Institution from where degree/diploma has been
done and official document showing name of the University and College from where
teaching experience has been gained to be furnished.
Duties :
To impart
theoretical and practical instructions to Under-graduate/Post-graduate medical
students. To conduct and guide research work in the speciality.
To render patient care in the Speciality.
Any other duties that may be assigned by the authorities from time to
time. ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : The other conditions of service will be as laid
down in the CHS Rules, 1996 and other rules in force from time to time in
particular :- (A) Private practice
of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed including any consultation and
laboratory practice. (B)
The candidate selected will, if so required,
be liable to serve in any Defence Service, or post connected with the
Defence of India, for a period of not less than four years including the period
spent in training, if any, provided that such officer:
i) will not be required to
serve as aforesaid after the expiry of 10 years from the date of appointment or
from the date of joining the service. ii)
Will not ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid after attaining the age of
45 years.

A. Educational : Master’s
Degree in Bacteriology or Microbiology from a recognized University or
equivalent. B. Experience : Two years’ experience in Bacteriology preferably in
Tuberculosis Bacteriology. Duties
: Assisting the Bacteriologist in
all the routine activities of the laboratory including the EQA, DRS, Dots plus
etc. Supervise all subordinate

11.(Ref.No.F.1/112/2007-R-II) Twenty-seven Chemists(Junior) in Geological
Survey of India, Ministry of Mines. Out
of twenty-seven posts, four posts are reserved for SC, three posts are reserved
for ST and seven posts are reserved for OBC candidates.
The posts are also suitable for Orthopaedically Handicapped persons with
Locomotor-disability. Qualifications
: Essential : A. Educational : i)
M.Sc Degree in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry from a recognized University or
equivalent. ii) Training in all
aspects of inorganic analysis including modern instrumental analysis methods.
B. Experience : About three years’ experience in a Laboratory concerned
with utilization of ores and minerals. Duties
: Analytical work, relating to
Rocks, Minerals, Ores, Metals, Alloys, allied materials and assaying of previous
metals or similar experience.

Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM), Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar
Administration. Qualifications
: Essential : Educational
: i) Good Academic record with at
least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter
grades O,A,B,C,D,E, and F at the Master’s
Degree level in Mathematics from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree
from a Foreign University. Explanation
: The term ‘ Good Academic
Record’ means at least Second Class with Fifty percent marks in Graduation
level. ii) Should have cleared the
eligibility test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR. or similar test
accredited by the UGC NOTE -
I : NET shall remain the
compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer even for those with
Post-Graduate degree. However, the
candidates having Ph.D degree in the concerned subject are exempted from
‘NET’ for PG and UG level teaching. The candidates having M.Phil degree in the concerned subject
are exempted from ‘NET’ for UG level teaching only. NOTE-II: Relaxation of 5% may be provided from
55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D
degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th
September 1991. NOTE – III:
‘B’ in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F shall be
regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed.
NOTE –IV : A relaxation of
minimum marks at the PG level from 55% to 50% may be provided to the candidates
who have cleared the Junior Research Fellowship Examination conducted by UGC/CSIR
only prior to 1989 when minimum marks required to appear for JRF examination was

from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. .
B. Experience : Three years’ teaching experience in the concerned
speciality after acquiring post-graduate qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar /
Senior Resident/Demonstrator/Tutor in a recognized Medical College/Teaching
Institution. NOTE
: I: The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the
recognition of the Medical Council of
India. In case of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the
qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act

In so far as Post-Graduation Medical qualifications awarded by Indian
