6.(Ref.No.F.1/290/2009-R-III) One Lecturer in Computer Science in Indian Military Academy, Ministry of Defence.  The post is reserved for OBC candidates.  Qualifications:  Essential:  Educational:  i) Master’s degree in Computer Science from a recognized University or equivalent.  ii) Should have cleared the eligibility test for Lecturers conducted by University Grants Commission, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission.  NOTE :  The following are exempted from the requirement of Educational Qualification :  a) The candidates who have passed National Eligibility Test Examination conducted by the University Grants Commission/Council for Scientific and Industrial Research for Junior Research Fellowship Award.  b) The candidates who have submitted their Ph.D Thesis or passed M.Phil Exam by 31.12.93. c) Candidates who have been awarded Ph.D.  Desirable :  i) Good academic record with 55% marks at the Master’s degree as in EQ(i).  ii) Proficiency in games/cultural activities.  iii) Experience of Military Training/National Cadet Corps/Scouting.  iv) Proficiency in English in the concerned subject.  Duties :  To teach cadets in his subject as per the training programme and syllabus.  In addition, to participate in social, cultural and extra curricular activities of cadets. 9.(Ref.No.F.1/288/2009-R-VI) Nine Regional Controllers of Mines in Indian Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines.  Out of nine posts, one post is reserved for SC candidates & two posts are reserved for OBC candidates. Qualifications :  Essential :  A. Educational :  Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.  B. Experience : Ten years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in Metalliferous Mines or a Government Department dealing with Metalliferous mines.  Desirable :  i) Post-graduate degree in Mining Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Working knowledge of computers with special emphasis on commonly used software in office.  Duties :  Supervising and coordinating the work including administrative work pertaining to a Region of Mines Control and conservation of Mineral division and guiding the officers of the region in all technical and administrative  matters. Inspection of Mines for systematic  development, conservation of minerals and protection of Mines environment as well as approval of Mining plan/scheme of Mining.  To carry out study of Mines, Mineral with special reference under the Mines and Minerals(Development and Regulation)Act, 1957 and rules made thereunder.   To prefer court complaints for violations of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act and rules made thereunder.  To inspect and to collect the samples under Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.

11.(Ref.No.F.1/317/2009-R-IV) One Assistant Director General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai.  Qualifications :  Essential :  A. Educational :  Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.  B. Experience :  Five years’ experience in administration and establishment matters.  Desirable :  i) Degree in Law. ii) Knowledge of Merchant Shipping Laws and work connected with regulations of sailing vessels and traffic under sails.  Duties :  Functions as Head of various Branches of the Directorate as per allocation of duties.  Executes the orders of the superior officers in accordance with the Rules, regulations, guidelines and norms stipulated by the Government of India.  Supervision and  control of the respective branches and the staff working under them. Qualifications:  Essential : A. Educational:  Degree or equivalent Diploma in Fine Art or Applied Art or Textile Designs from a recognized University or Institution or equivalent.  B. Experience :  Three years’ practical experience in creative textile designing or painting in a reputed handloom or a dye house or handloom establishment. Duties :  To be in charge of a Sub-Centre and attend to all Administrative work when required including supervision of day to day work in the Design Section of the Centre.  Evolving new designs and arrange their production on experimental basis keeping in view need of consumer interest, sale ability etc.

20.(Ref.No.F.1/312/2009-R-III) Three Lecturers(History)in Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya, (JNRM), Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Administration.  Qualifications :  Essential :   Educational :  i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E and F at the Master’s Degree level in History from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a Foreign University.  Explanation :  The term ‘Good Academic Record’ means at least Second Class with Fifty percent marks in Graduation degree. ii) Should have cleared the eligibility test(NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC., CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.   NOTE - 1: ‘NET’ shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those with Post Graduate degree.  However, the candidates having Ph.D degree in the concerned subject are exempted from ‘NET’ for PG level and UG level teaching.  The candidates having M.Phil degree in the concerned subject are exempted from ‘NET’ for UG level teaching only. 22.(Ref.No.F.1/275/2009-R-I) Sixteen Assistant Professors (General Medicine), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.  Central Health Service(Teaching Specialist Sub-Cadre).  Out of sixteen posts, three posts are reserved for SC, one post is reserved for ST and four posts are reserved for OBC candidates.   Qualifications: Essential:  A. Educational:  i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule  or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.  Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956.   ii) Post-Graduate Degree in the concerned specialty i.e. M.D.(General), M.D.(General Medicine), M.D.(Med & Therapeutics), MRCP, specialty Board of Internal Medicine(USA).  B. Experience : At least three years’ teaching experience in the concerned specialty as Lecturer /Tutor / Demonstrator/Registrar /Senior Resident after the requisite post-graduate degree qualification.   NOTE : I: The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the Medical Council  of India. In case of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system of medicine. ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : The other conditions of service will be as laid down in the CHS Rules, 1996 and other rules in force from time to time in particular :-  (A) Private practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice.  (B)  The candidate selected will, if so required,  be liable to serve in any Defence Service, or post connected with the Defence of India, for a period of not less than four years including the period spent in training, if any ; provided that such officer:  i)  will not be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of 10 years from the date of appointment or from the date of joining the service.  ii) Will not ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid after attaining the age of 45 years.
