Qualifications : Essential : A.
Educational : M.Sc in Agriculture /
Agricultural Extension/Any of the Agricultural Sciences from a recognized
University or equivalent or Master’s Degree in Rural Management or MBA with a
B.Sc(Agriculture)from a recognized Institute or equivalent.
B. Experience : Eight years’ experience in a supervisory cadre or
equivalent in the field of administration or Management of Agriculture or
Extension Programme or Teaching experience at College or University level in
Agricultural or Extension Programme with special reference to training of
Extension Personnel and Farmers. Desirable :
Familiarity with the formulation and conduct of Extension Management

Planning, Programming and organization of short term and long term in
service training courses in the selected crops and discipline for the SMSs and

Service Engineer(Mechanical) in Fishery Survey of India(Mumbai), Department of
Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture.
The post is reserved for ST candidates.
Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Degree in Mechanical/Marine
Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Three
years’ experience in maintenance, repairs and running of Marine Diesel
Engines/Ship repairs and maintenance. Duties : The service Engineer(Mechanical)
shall assist the Mechanical Marine Engineer/Head of the office of the Zonal Base
of Fishery Survey of India or the Deputy Director General(Engg.) at the
Headquarters in all the matter on engineering side.
He shall be responsible for supervision of work in the departmental
workshop and to carry out maintenance, running and dry-docking repairs of the
vessels attached to the base. The
store clerk/store keeper will work under him and he shall be responsible for the
safe custody of stores, maintenance of proper Stock Registers/cardex etc. in
regard to purchase and issue of stores. Wherever the Vessels are in the jetty,
he shall visit the vessels daily and ascertain the repairs, if any and initiate
action for carrying out the repairs as expeditiously as possible to avoid loss
of fishing day. He shall supervise all repairs and maintenance jobs and satisfy
himself that the work is carried out satisfactorily and certify the bills
accordingly. He shall initiate
procurement action in respect of stores and spare parts, lubricating oil, H.S.D.
etc. required for the up-keep and maintenance of the fishing Vessels etc. well

Quarantine & Storage, Department of Agriculture & Co-operation, Ministry
of Agriculture. Qualifications
: Essential :
A. Educational : Master of Science degree in Entomology or Nematology or
Master of Science degree in Agriculture with specialization in Entomology or
Master of Science degree in Zoology with specialization in Entomology or
Nematology from a recognized
University or equivalent. B. Experience : Two years’ practical experience in
Entomology related to Plant Protection. Desirable :
Doctorate degree in Entomology or Agricultural Entomology from a

Duties : To attend/undertake
Phyto-sanitary certificate/treatment for exported/imported agricultural

Experience: Five years’ experience in different aspects of prospecting for
Economic minerals and surveying. Desirable

ii) Experience in different aspects of prospecting for economic minerals
and surveying and iii) working knowledge of computers with special emphasis on
commonly used Software in office. Duties
: Conducting Integrated Geological
Studies for appraisal of mineral deposits and also to undertake MCDR inspection
of miners in any part of the country and abroad. Conducting
techno-economic feasibility studies and scrutiny of Mining Plan/Mining Scheme

Qualifications: Essential :
A. Educational : Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized
University or equivalent. B.
Experience : Three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in
metalliferous mines or a Government Department dealing with mines.
Desirable : i)
Post-Graduate degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or
equivalent. ii) Working knowledge
of computers with special emphasis on commonly used software in offices.
Duties : Inspection of
Mines for systematic development, conservation of minerals and protection of
Mines environment under the Mines and Minerals(Development and Regulation) Act,
1957 and rules made thereunder. To prefer court complaints for violations of Mines and
Minerals(Development and Regulation) Act and
rules made thereunder. To advise
the mine owners on the adoption of appropriate technology for prospecting and
mining. Utilization of low grade
minerals and rejects, protection of environment in mining areas, beneficiation
of minerals. To monitor the mining
activities in accordance with the approved mining plan/scheme of mining.
Technical data processing and retrieval as and when required.

13.(Ref.No.F.1/189/2009-R-I)
One Professor(Paediatrics) in Government Medical College & Hospital,
Chandigarh, Department of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh
Administration. Qualifications
: Essential : A. Educational :
i) A basic University or
equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian
Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medial
Register or Indian Medical Register. ii) M.D. (Paediatrics) from a recognized
University / Institution or equivalent.
B. Experience: Ten years’
experience in the profession after acquiring post-graduate qualification, out of
which four year’s should be as Reader/Associate Professor in a recognized
Medical College/Teaching Institution. NOTE: I: The Medical qualifications possessed by the
candidates should have the recognition of the Medical Council of India. In case
of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the qualifications
should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system
of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached. NOTE: II: In so far as
Post-Graduation Medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are
concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time. In case of medical posts other than allopathic system of
medicine, the qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of
the Act governing that system of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached.
NOTE : III : The experience gained should be recognized by the MCI or the
statutory body concerned of the system of medicine as valid teaching experience
for teaching posts and certificate therefor or any other valid proof in support
thereof should be submitted.
Teaching experience in any other post like the post of General Duty
Medial Officer/Medical Officer shall not be considered for eligibility purpose
for recruitment to the teaching posts. NOTE : IV :
Completion of compulsory Rotating
Internship Certificate, Registration Certificate, an official document showing
name of College/Institution from where degree/diploma has been done and official
document showing name of the University and College from where teaching
experience has been gained to be furnished.
Desirable : Minimum four Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus/National
Journals and one Research publication in
International Journals. Duties :
The Professor(Paediatrics) will be designated as Head of the Department
and his duties will be to teach the under-graduate (MBBS) and Post-graduate
students, training of interns, paramedical staff and research work.
HQ : The officer so selected
will be required to serve in Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh.
ii) He shall be liable to serve in any of the
Rural Health Centres of the Chandigarh Administration, if so required. ANY
OTHER CONDITIONS : i) The candidate so appointed shall have to join his/her

age limit shown against all other S.Nos is normal age limit and only in these
cases age is relaxable upto five years for SC candidates and
upto 3 years for OBC
candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them. AGE
IS ALSO RELAXABLE FOR CENTRAL/UT GOVT SERVANTS UPTO FIVE YEARS AS PER THE
INSTRUCTIONS ISSUED BY GOVT OF INDIA FROM TIME TO TIME.

NOTE:
Candidates with disabilities [as indicated against Item(s)] can apply to
the respective posts even if the post is not reserved for them.
However, such candidates will be considered for selection to such post by
general standard of merit. Persons
suffering from not less than 40% of relevant disability shall alone be eligible
for the benefit of reservation and other relaxations as permissible under the
rules
5.HEADQUARTERS:At places specifically stated against certain posts, otherwise anywhere in India or aboard.
6.PROBATION:The persons selected will be appointed on probation as per rule.
